Below you will find the answers to some commonly asked questions. If I don’t cover your question below, please don’t hesitate to ask!
A little about the parents of our puppies...
The parents of our puppies are well loved family companions first! Our dogs are our whole world and we love it that way! Breeding is our passion. Health and great temperaments are the 2 most important aspects in our breeding program, however, we believe breeding a good looking dog is important too! All of our dogs are GREAT with their family and welcoming to our guests but are still protective when called for.
A little about our puppies...
Our puppies are AKC registered and come with a health warranty that covers any life threatening genetic disorders. If any genetic, life threatening disorder is discovered during the guarantee period, we would replace the puppy with one from the next available litter. All puppies are microchipped, up to date on shots and will have a state certified certificate of health from my vet prior to leaving for their new homes.
The puppies will be handled and loved on every day! We do ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) starting around day 3 until day 16. Once the puppies are up and moving around, usually around 4-5 weeks, we really get into what I like to call Puppy Preschool! Of course that is only the beginning and socialization must be continued in their new home to ensure a confident, well adjusted adult dog. We also start on house breaking by giving the puppies a potty area separate from their play area. This teaches them early on that there is a place to "go" and a place to keep clean and this makes your job MUCH easier!
Prices and explanations...
Prices on our puppies are determined by parentage, pedigree, cost of breeding and the amount of training or titles they have or are working toward. We will gladly discuss price with you via email or phone.
A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will hold a puppy until 8 weeks of age. Your deposit is applied to the total cost of your puppy. If a puppy of a specific gender is not available, your deposit can be rolled to the next available litter. No cash refunds are given for any reason.
If you are unfamiliar with Full vs. Limited AKC papers, please see the explanation below.
*Full Registration – Dogs that have Full Registration AKC papers may be shown in all AKC recognized events. These dogs may also be bred and the puppies may be registered with AKC.
** Limited Registration – These dogs can participate in MOST AKC recognized events, but can not be shown in conformation shows (dog shows). These dogs can NOT be bred. If they are bred on accident (or on purpose) the puppies produced can NOT be registered.
If you do not understand the difference between Full and Limited registration, please ask prior to placing your deposit.
Your puppy has a home for LIFE!!
The most important thing that I want anyone interested in one of our puppies to know is that if you can not keep your puppy for ANY reason, I will ALWAYS take the puppy back! I know that no one gets a puppy with the intention of giving it up later, but sometimes life throws you a curveball and things you never thought would happen sometimes does. If that happens, I don't want anyone afraid to tell me that and allow me the opportunity to find the puppy/dog another home. If that can't be done, I will always take him/her back. We will always be his/her family!
I hope I have answered a lot of questions and possibly told you more than you even wanted to know. I like to give all the information up front BEFORE any decisions are made. Picking your breeder is one of the most important decisions you will make when deciding on a new puppy! I hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you.
